Ever since the elitist left lost the mid-term elections (by in large), the mainstream media has been asking that question. How could Americans be so stupid? The president himself has expressed that it's his failure to explain his genius to us (the common folk who cling insensibly to God and guns in fly-over states) that led to Republicans gaining 64 seats and a majority in the House of Representatives.

American people have a difficult time reconciling themselves to socialism. They don't want nationalized anything because most of them find that the Federal Government can't run ANYTHING efficiently. Giving them control of healthcare (20% of the economy) means that they'll run it at a loss at twice the cost of allowing private enterprise to do it.
They just don't get it.

LL: Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that most of us weren't smart enough to go to Ivy League colleges. Accordingly, our heads aren't rammed firmly enough up our own rectums to fully appreciate and understand the crap that the oh so smart, we are the ones they've been waiting for elitist class keeps throwing at us.
LA - I wonder if a liberal arts education in the Ivy League would have made a "beta male" out of me? Somehow I doubt that I would have been a good fit.
Now here we are, a band of cretins who simply don't understand Obama -- and now he plans to 'educate' us over the next two years. I'm simply thrilled that it's not 1984 and I can turn the TV off.
As Rush L. has said many times, "Liberals are very unhappy people." Nothing makes them happy. They are always pissed off at something, even when they win. Therefore, ergo sum, etc., Conservatives of good conscience should drive them into the ground like little nails.

In the 2008 election, more people voted who were under the age of 35 than over the age of 65. That's a first for anyone's lifetime. Practically speaking, that means that a new generation put President Obama in office. They don't think, or behave, much at all like older generations of Americans. Make of that what you will, and of course you will. But it does raise the question, who exactly doesn't get it?
Why can't we just come together as a nation and solve all of our social ills. The funny thing is is that anyone the considers themselves middle class or poor should have a common goal and that is to rise up over the wealth in the country. We are falling into a divide and conquer mentallity when we are the ones that actually lose. So tired of hearing how one political party is better than the other.

Remember a ABC TV movie in 1987-Amerika?
The movie started with people huddled around barrels used as heat with flames rising above the top. And the next scene, tanks roaring in the crowds to disperse the people.
The next day the critics were talking about the country had been taken over but the movie did not show or tell how.
Chris Kristofferson played a patriotic radio talk show host. Who was killed just before he pushed the on air button.
This was aired by ABC in 1987. Before Rush Limbaugh?
One scene showed Military Black Opps taking Capitol Hill, and wiping out everyone in the congress.
This movie keeps coming back in memory-the part about the Military wiping out everyone in the congress.
If this is the plan by these Marxist, and I have been reminding some -by phone-, they could put me away; slice and dice the phone calls to make me out to be the bad guy. I think I have done myself in.

No offense to those that enjoy it, but people are easily swayed and easily manipulated to do stupid things because of the way someone speaks or appears.

I look at the map and cringe. When the Framers were set up the two part Congress it was to prevent small sections of the country from ruling everyone else. It was their way of preventing a true democracy, which they despised. But when you look at the map, their nightmare has become our reality.
Idiotic assholes. The graphic merely showed where most of the population of the U.S. is.
