Liberal Thought - and our Future

In America, John Locke’s rule of law is being replaced by Hobbes’ rule by Man. As the progressives fully embrace ideologies, which hold that all values fluctuate. They will eventually deform and fluctuate themselves to extinction. 

Under liberal and "progressive" philosophies, our judges are free to embrace the concepts that values are transitory things. Witness if you will the recent decision of Federal Judge sitting in California, striking down marriage as being defined between a man and a woman.

Under a liberal and "progressive" chief executive, hundreds of thousands of acres of US Borderlands have been ceded to Mexican drug cartels - and the land grants have been proclaimed by signs posted by the government of the United States. Opening the border to more random illegal immigration is seen as the surest method to get more prospective Democratic Party voters into the US.

In America, the phony, entirely fraudulent, infantile intelligentsia and cognoscenti, worship their mythological Common Man. They reject norms and normality, bourgeois culture, and show absolute contempt for the reason of the ages and a rule of law.”

Around the world, the military and police keep this three-layer cake from collapsing but it applies equally to the United States. The American Secretary of Homeland Security proclaimed that the most profound threat to the republic was found in returning veterans. Imagine that attitude toward the custodians of a nation’s defense for a moment. Military and police who protect the Party hierarchy from ‘enemies domestic and foreign’, are objects of contempt. They persecute them at every opportunity. Recall if you will their president indicting a police officer from the bully pulpit for doing precisely what the officer should have done. Public outrage forced the Chief Executive to choke down a beer with a policeman for photo op value on the evening news. In Arizona, the bulwark standing against illegal immigration, a hand full of county sheriffs do what the Federal Government refuses to do and they face prosecution for their troubles.

On Aug. 20, obama's man at ICE, John Morton, wrote a memo stating that being in the U.S. illegally is no longer sufficient reason to send someone home. An illegal immigrant now has to be a security threat or else commit a crime — and a violent one at that. To everyone else, ICE turns the blind eye. Rule by man, not by law. What the obama regime is telling you is that, "Illegal" doesn't mean really 'illegal', anymore unless WE say it does."

ABC, NBC and CBS openly contribute to the Democratic Party, completely subverting their role as the nation's watchdogs - pushing their progressive agenda to substitute the rule of law with the Rule of Man.

The rally on the Capitol Mall and around the Lincoln Memorial yesterday pushed the concept of restoring Honor, which by its very nature is linked to maintaing the Rule of Law and preserving the Republic. The mainstream media will work hard to minimize it because their agenda is the agenda of Sol Alinski. I've read mainstream media accounts that call Glenn Beck's rally a "provocation to black people." They've called Glenn Beck a, "puffed-up huckster" and bristled that the NAACP rally near by had about 3,000 people attend while Beck's Restoring Honor rally had somewhere over 100,000 people at the Lincoln Memorial.

Jeffrey S. Howard wrote a piece today at IBD, discussing the president's 'brilliance'.

"Every person, newscaster and commentator always prefaces any, even the mildest criticism, of President Obama's policies with some statement about how dazzlingly brilliant the man is. Liberals, conservatives, independents — it never changes. Why is this? And most important of all, is it true?

"What and where is the proof that Obama is such a sharp fellow? The recorded evidence is unavailable since his academic records, and test scores from three universities are sealed at his demand...The president is unable to string a cogent sentence together without a pair of Teleprompters working perfectly. He can deliver a mesmerizing speech but can't even remember who is standing beside him when the tape runs off the tracks." 

If you really wanted rule by MAN to replace rule by LAW, why would you select obama to be the man you wanted to lead you?
