Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, funded by the US Taxpayers to drag the sack for contributions throughout the Middle East, can in no sense be considered a moderate Muslim.
Yes, there are moderate Muslims in the world, however the mainstream usually calls for their deaths (by beheading, stoning, pouring acid on them, etc.) on a regular basis, because of their moderation. So it's not all that tough to sift out a moderate Muslim.
There are some who say that barack hussein obama is no Muslim. I don't know if he is, but my grandfather used to tell me that if a bird quacks like a duck and walks like a duck, it's likely a duck.
I'm not sure which faith is more filled with hatred toward Americans and all things American, bigotry, and chauvanism -- Black Liberation Theology (barely Christian) or Islam. It would be an interesting debate because of the Nation of Islam's (Black Muslim's) embrace of Black Liberation Theology.
The atheists who comprise the bulk of the radical left in America are typically anti-religion, unless it's Islam. Then there is complete rapprochement. How completely odd. For some reason, the radical left has embraced Islam. I can't quite figure it out but perhaps they are making common cause with Islam against mainstream American values?
No matter how this thing shakes out, the Victory Mosque/Trophy Mosque will end up being a rallying point for conservatives, moderates and independents in America who universally say - build your church, but NOT THERE.

Scary stuff. I don't trust any of them and never will. They have indeed been telling us what they are going to do for years. Do we listen? Most don't. We must be politically correct.

They've really screwed things up for the Religion of Peace™. Even if they build their Victory Mosque, it'll be a Pyrrhic Victory. All they've done is woken the proverbial American Sleeping Giant to the true nature of Islam.
