I'm hopeful that the Souix Indians will put up a tribute statue to General Custer. Custer, known to the Indians as "Son of the Morning Star" because he preferred to ride down on Indian encampments at dawn and catch the women sleeping. He killed what men were in camp, women, children, the aged and also used artillery to mow them down. Killing women, children and old people was easy for George Armstrong Custer. He had a different experience at the Little Big Horn when he met an overwhelming number of men. All the same, where is the tribute to the fallen soldiers? If only the Souix nation was open minded, they'd embrace this idea.
Since our American president is a closet Muslim and we know that other important Muslims want to erect a monument to the fallen airplane hijackers from 911 in New York City - a mosque would seem to be appropriate. How better to honor the murderers of women, children and the helpless than a mosque? Maybe America will feel the healing influence of a mosque, brought to us by the 'religion of peace'.
The photo (right) shows the proximity of the 911 Mosque to the yet to be repaired damage to the World Trade Center.
This healing move by the City of New York simply makes me tingle...maybe a lot like "journalist" Chris Matthews said he felt when barack hussein obama spoke.
DALE suggests a tribute to the Japanese airmen who were lost at Pearl Harbor.
I'm waiting for those pesky Jewish people to build a memorial to Adolph Hitler in Jerusalem. If you're Jewish, you might want to reach out to Yad Vashem and ask them to work on the project. I can see it now. A large park filled with statues of storm troopers with Hitler, Eichmann, Borman and Goebles standing on a dias overlooking the men -- let's put it right next to the wailing wall.

Something like this (using Mayor Bloomberg's reasoning) would help the Jewish people begin to heal after the holocaust.
Maybe put a shrine to the fallen Nazis immediately adjacent (touching) the old Temple to show the world that all is forgiven. And as a nice touch, what about a monument to all the Muslims who died while body packing bombs that they lit off in public places and on public busses in Israel.
Let's begin to heal!
AMERICA, what the FU@K is wrong with you?
The 911 Mosque is an absolute OUTRAGE. Have we become so passive and weak so as to allow this sort of thing to exist? I guess the answer to that would be yes. This blog's principal question is "can we keep our Republic". My answer, given the crap I've seen spew out from the daily outrages perpetrated by the barack hussein obama regime and from things such as the 911 Mosque make me doubt that we can.

Some peoples heads are upgefunct. That will never change. Better such heads be removed, to make room for better objects.
They will build it too. Wait and see. Someday we'll tear it down too. That will happen as well. We are politically correcting ourselves to death. Idiots.
Religion of Peace my ass.
Have a terrific day. :)
The mislim victory monument is already built in Jerusalem. They did such a thorought job with it, they built it RIGHT ON TOP of the site of the ancient Jewish temple. I believe it is called the Dome of the Rock. In their haste to destroy, one small wall of the original temple sanctuary wnt undestroyed. Jews were denied access to even this sMall portion of their former temple for years. So you see, Americans are lucky that the mislims are not erecting the mosque directly on the WTC site.
See the power of positive thinking? (Sarc)
Blackberry = bad typos.
@ Opus #6:
To your comment, "So you see, Americans are lucky that the mislims are not erecting the mosque directly on the WTC site. . ."
I would add:
. . . yet.
Personally, I prefer your Blackberry's spelling of Mislims. I think I'll adopt it.
I forgot about the Dome of the Rock. You're right Opus. It's already there. All that is left is to erect a monument to fallen Nazis and more particularly members of the SS/SD and the shrine will be complete.
It's Springtime for Hitler and Germaneeee . ."

I have to admit to not understanding the opposition to this Islamic Center: On what grounds would we oppose it?
One of the things that makes our nation great is our freedom of religion. Another thing that sets us apart is our capitalism (with its mixed bag of success, it's still the best we got). Yet another thing that makes us great is our charitable giving.
So, these Muslim individuals have started a charitable organization to promote understanding. They have purchased land and are prepared to hire people to build this religious building.
Because we have freedom of religion, because we value charitable organizations, and because we are a capitalistic nation, on what possible bases would we oppose this building?
You all aren't seriously suggesting we remove freedom of religion from our Constitution, are you? Or that people can't spend their money legally how they wish, are you?
Conservatives should be leading the way in defending this project, so I really don't understand the opposition.
Is it merely because SOME Muslims were responsible for 9/11? Does that mean because SOME Christian was involved in the Oklahoma bombing, you'd undo the Constitution to stop a Christian site from being constructed in OK City?
This makes no sense to me.
"Can we keep our Republic"? Not if we start undermining the Constitution of this great nation. Not if we embrace giddy ignorance and stereotypes.
I think the American people are made of better stuff than that, though.
You?
Dan- It's incredibly insensitive to put a mosque where Islamic people have decided to put it.
The United States of America has been at war with Radical Islam since September 11, 2001. Muslims around the world CELEBRATED when the hijacked aircraft slammed into the Pentagon and the World Trade Center Towers. I saw it on television and heard the jubilation from Islamic people I know.
The best publicized military treason/murder was Nidal Hasan, who turned on fellow soldiers and murdered them at Ft. Hood. However there have been others. All in the name of Islam. I realize these are separate incidents, but Islamic people still wish to attack the United States and would if they were not thwarted.
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof"
BOTTOM LINE:
The question is whether Islam acts as a religion or as a political entity at war with the United States.
Islam is a governmental, political and social tool to control the masses, it's very meaning is -"To Submit"! Sharia Law is the enforcement.
Of course our enemies would want to enact a little at a time, to catch the American People asleep.
Blocking this camels' nose under the tent is not against the Constitution...
Can you make what you put in bold a bumper sticker? I´d buy a million.
BTW, I´m almost done with your book. Enjoying it very much here in the Mare Nostrum.
Dan Trabue must read the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution, and underline "promote the general welfare, provide for the common defense"..then memorize it.

C.A.I.R. (Council on American-Islamic Relations) leader stated, "We are not here to be equal, we are here to dominate!"
First the Muslim infiltrates, then Saudi Oil Wealth builds 1200 mosques, plus madrassa;
then comes the FGM's (female genital mutilations) and the "Honor Killings". See August 9th, Time Magazine (cover) where 18 yr old Aisha had her ears & nose cut off by the Taliban.
Grim stuff, if you have a daughter.
That's Not A Religion, it's a 1400 year old brutal kill-culture; it's a belief system that women are inferior, sub-human, sex slaves...to be treated no better than the family goat! In the Middle East, they strap bombs on their women and kids, to kill jews;
the Qur'an encourages this behavior.
