It's a war against the states.

Time Magazine (CLICK HERE FOR LINK) published an article worth reading that discusses the financial state of most US States - bleeding red ink and virtually bankrupt. The only parallel that can be drawn is with America in the 1930's. Add to that increasing mandates of only partially funded federal programs that the States can't afford.
Illegal Aliens are a huge financial drain on many US States.
This is not a war to defend the nation against a foreign invader. In fact the barack hussein obama administration encourages illegal aliens to invade and occupy the United States - because once given amnesty, they are more likely to vote for a Democratic candidate. The US Department of Labor is PAYING for an outreach program where ILLEGAL ALIENS are encouraged to turn in their employers for underpaying them. It's interesting because employing them is a felony...presumably the Labor Department will not refer employers for employing them to the Justice Department for prosecution. There is no hint of aiding the states hardest hit by the depredations of illegal aliens that the Federal Government refuses to apprehend.

I live in California so you don't have to tell me about illegal aliens. We are overrun with them. You can go most places and not hear a word of English. Now this state is going to boycott Arizona. It's crazy. We've just handed over our country to illegals. Our governor estimates illegals cost this state five billion a year. FIVE BILLION. Good grief.

The states will ultimately win if they have the courage to tell the feds to F**K OFF with their mandates.
At some point in the not too distant future those recieiving federal benefits will out number those paying for those benefits. Illegal immigrants is just another 'constituency" being courted by the progressive elites in this country. Those recieving federal money through "compassionate" social programs will continue to vote for (and most likely elect) more politicians bent on 'growing' their liberal/progressive power base. That group will continue to grow, and the number of those supporting them will continue to shrink. Does anyone think that the "producers" will continue to do so forever with little or no upside? At some point one of two things is bound to happen. The group paying for the benefits will get fed up and fight back (literally), or they will just stop paying their taxes. In that case the "receivers" will get violent. Either way, Obama and the progressive agenda, pushed over the past 80+ years, will be the ultimate cause of a full blown class war. On which side will the national guard and the military stand when it occurs? Most likely divided - just like during the Civil War. Good grief. I wonder if it will happen during my lifetime?
