Harry Reid is now saying that America is in the grip of an "Insurance Holocaust". I guess he's banking on fooling all the people all the time. Those of us who oppose the Public Option have been branded as "political terrorists" by Indiana Rep. Baron Hill, who sent SEIU thugs to demonstrate outside Independent Sen. Joe Lieberman's private residence and derided senior citizens questioning President Obama's fuzzy math savings claims (California Rep. Pete Stark: "I wouldn't dignify you by peeing on your leg. It wouldn't be worth wasting the urine.").
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid led Democrats deeper into demagoguery by likening Republicans who object to socialized medicine to slave masters, enemies of women's suffrage. Blustering in his uncomfortably rasping voice, Reid lectured we who stand in the way of Barack Hussein Obama (mmm.mmm.mmm): "When this country belatedly recognized the wrongs of slavery, there were those who dug in their heels and said, 'Slow down. It's too early. Things aren't bad enough.' When women spoke up for the right to speak up, they wanted to vote, some insisted, 'Slow down. There will be a better day to do that. Today isn't quite right.' When this body was on the verge of guaranteeing equal civil rights to everyone regardless of the color of their skin, some senators resorted to the same filibuster threats that we hear today."
Well, Mazza Harry, you have it wrong and will have a chance to feel how the slaves feel in 2010 when you're up for re-election.

I Hope you're right LL, but I fear too many Americans are becoming demoralized by the lack of impact they have had to date. All I can say is don't give up! That's the secret of glory!

They have imposed a system of slavery, when everyone must lap at the fount of the federal government.
Even worse is how they enslave poor people and harvest their votes.
It seems more people are becoming aware. I hope they take action at the ballot box.
