America's worst is in the White House today:
Barack Hussein Obama
Experience: Community Activist
Real Job Experience: None
Personal Associates: Marxists, radicals, Black Liberation Theologists (in a word, freaks)
I'll make a list - a few suggestions that I consider important (not in any order). Your input is solicited:
- Clear and unambiguous values and principles - with transparency (no hidden past)
- Military experience, combat experience useful.
- World exposure
- Political experience domestically
Add or subtract from the list as you are moved to do so.

Wistful sigh.
* Has respect for the office of the Presidency
* Has respect for traditions & holidays of everyday Americans.
* Man/Woman of their word
* Yep, I would like them to be spiritual.
* Unpretentious
* I'd like someone who does not believe the Constitution needs work.
How about having a resolve to "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
++Someone who attracts the best and brightest.
It's not simply the man in the Oval Office, it's also the whole administration. We've seen from the character of Dear Leader's closest advisors and from his Czars that the pattern of corruption expands from the middle.

Better Judge of Character in Cabinet Building
I don't know that military experience needs to be a requirement, although it certainly would seem to lead toward patriotism and therefore would be a plus.
Perhaps having been the CEO or CFO of a fortune 500 company, with the ability to show positive results during one's tenure?
I also am starting to think that once the major party nominees have been selected, they should choose their cabinet members before the election.
And sadly, while you're spot on with your requirement for "Clear and unambiguous values and principles - with transparency (no hidden past)" - those who paid attention to the right news sources knew all about Obama's value system.
Unfortunately, the majority of the media buried it or played it down, or perhaps we've come to learn just how stupid the average American really is, because somehow many still don't see Obama's radicalism as an issue.
There are realities to war that military veterans understand at a gut level that those who never served beneath the standard do. You don't need to be a general. Simply to have served makes you less likely to WASTE lives.
I don't count George W. Bush's time in uniform as "service". His dad served though and it was reflected in how he viewed the world.
This present clown could use a stretch in boot camp.
- ability to lead
- does not apologize for one's country
- does not put down own people
It is a sad sign of the times when we actually must contemplate such lists. In past times, the vast majority knew what it took to be president and voted accordingly.
Franklin's reply on your masthead says it all. "...if you can keep it."
The founders were clear that this republic and its constitution was set up for a hard-working, moral and thinking people. Go fat, dumb and lazy and it can all go down the toilet...
foutsc - "Go fat, dumb and lazy and it can all go down the toilet..."
Please refrain from personal attacks against that fat, dumb, lazy, perverted b@stard, Michael Moore.
The Founding Fathers all lost a great deal of personal wealth, some lost their lives or their families to bring us what we have today. Since the founding of the nation, what we have has been bought at very dear cost. Many of us have had family fall in the wars between then and now. Many of us today have lost friends to maintain freedom.
And when the voting public surrenders it all to a buffoon like our current President and his gang of utopian socialist misfits, it makes me want to toss my cookies.
They didn't die for an ObamaNation.
What do you mean with "Real Job Experience: None" in your description of President Obama's qualifications? I don't understand. He "served as a professor" (quoted from his former employer, the Chicago Law School, see www.factcheck.org/askfactcheck/was_barack_obama_really_a_constitutional_law.html) before he became a senator.
As if being a community organizer doesn't count. He even was quite succesful at that, ask his former clients and colleague's. And read the papers, all of them, from left to right.
One who puts the Oath Of Office and the Constitution-Above All Others!
Ivory - Dear Leader was also an attorney for ACORN. To me, that doesn't count as a real job that has any meaning outside of his narrow coterie of political back-scratching employment. I don't know to what extent he taught at the Chicago Law School. I've taught at USC Business School (Marshall School of Business) as an adjunct professor, however it hardly qualifies as a real job. I don't put it on my resume.
Obama may not be qualified to be President, but he clearly is qualified for Congress, i.e., he has at least a middle school education. See also www.smarterthancongress.blogspot.com
*A knowledge that the Constitution actually means what it says.
* Recognition that socialism kills initiative, creates dependency, and is a form of slavery.
